FAQ

what is cbd?

Frequently asked questions we get about Acrely always start with “What is CBD?”.

CBD is the abbreviation for “cannabidiol”. And what is that? Cannabidiol is one of over 100 different chemical compounds found in cannabis and hemp. CBD has the most fame, and has been credited with many health benefits.

At Acrely, we feel the entire plant is beneficial, and we take pride in minimal processing to keep the most whole-plant-compounds in every serving.

what are some common uses of cbd?

  • Inflammation
  • Stress
  • Sleep
  • Anxiety
  • Addiction
  • Depression
  • Skin Health

what is the common does of cbd?

Due to the wide range of uses for CBD, appropriate serving sizes can vary widely. Your serving size depends on a number of factors: your body weight, metabolism, individual body chemistry, and other metabolic factors. We recommend starting with a small amount of CBD, and gradually increasing the serving until the desired effects are achieved. CBD produces the best results when used consistently.

You can use the included droppers to measure out consistent, precise doses!

will cbd make me feel high?

No, CBD is not intoxicating and it will not make you feel high. THC is the chemical compound in the cannabis plant that produces the “high” but Acrely products all contain less than 0.3% THC in accordance with federal legal regulations.

is cbd legal?

Yes, it is federally legal! The 2018 Farm Bill removed hemp from its prior classification (as a Schedule I substance) and made CBD federally legal. The bill defines hemp as: cannabis containing no more than 0.3% THC by dry weight.

However, states have their own rules and regulations around CBD. While some states fully approve CBD use (like Utah), others only permit it when prescribed by a physician or if the product contains 0% THC.

what is the difference between broad spectrum and full spectrum?

Full Spectrum Oil: After the plants are hand-harvested and dried, they are ready to have the hemp oil extracted. After this first extraction takes place, you get full spectrum oil.

Full spectrum oil contains the most beneficial plant nutrients (like cannabinoids and terpenes) for the most powerful effect. It is sometimes referred to as crude oil and has an earthy, aromatic scent and a dark, golden appearance. The combined benefits of all of the plant nutrients in full-spectrum oil is referred to as the “entourage effect.”

Broad Spectrum Oil: In contrast, broad spectrum oil is processed further to remove some more THC. This unfortunately inadvertently removes many of the compounds, (cannabinoids and terpenes), that contribute to the therapeutic effect.

At Acrely Farms, we believe in the power of minimal processing. All of our products contain the highest quality full spectrum oil.

do acrely products contain thc?

Acrely’s full spectrum oil is hemp-derived and contains less than 0.3% THC (per federal legal regulations). We believe in keeping our hemp oil minimally processed to leave the naturally occurring THC in the oil. Removing the 0.3% THC removes beneficial plant material that could have provided health benefits.

what are the benefits of cbd?

FDA Disclosure: due to federal regulation, we cannot make health claims regarding our products.  We can, however, recommend our products for general wellness. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any disease. Always speak to your doctor about health concerns.

what is the difference between hemp seed oil and hemp oil (CBD)?

Hemp oil is a product derived from the leaves, flowers, and stalks of the hemp plant and contains the highest concentration of cannabinoids. Hemp seed oil is extracted from only the seeds of the hemp plant and contains undetectable quantities of cannabinoids.

At Acrely, we use extracts from the leaves and flowers of the hemp plant (hemp oil), to include the highest quality of therapeutic cannabinoids and terpenes.

what is the difference between cbg and cbd?

CBD:

Cannabidiol works with our cannabinoid receptors in the brain (CB1 & CB2) to help control pain, inflammation, and neurological function.

Use CBD to help: improve sleep, decrease pain and inflammation, help skin conditions, and relieve anxiety.

CBG:

Cannabigerol strains are a little harder to come by. Acrely Farms grew a specific White CBG strain last year, containing a high concentration of CBG, CBD, and CBC, which helps to increase the “entourage effect.”

Use CBG to help: improve focus and energy, reduce gut and intestinal inflammation, combat MRSA and other bacterial infections, decrease neurologic symptoms of pain, help smooth muscle contraction, and quickly counteract anxiety.
